It’s been 7 years since my wedding. And while I absolutely loved everything about that day, I wish I could marry Daniel again – and this time our wedding would have a whole different style! So when I was looking at wedding dresses on,  I immediately went looking for a Boho-Chic dress. {Confession: In my heart…I wish I was a Boho chick. I’d want my wardrobe to consist of flowy dresses from Free People and crowns of wildflowers.}

What is you ask? It is an amazing wedding website. A ‘one-stop’ place where you can design, organize and even shop for all of your wedding ideas and products. I had so much fun browsing for the perfect dress.

And here is my make-up design for a Boho-Chic bride. It’s a healthy combination of higher-end and drugstore products:

I invision this wedding to be in the middle of summer when it’s sunny and warm. I want the bride to have a sun-kissed look that is both feminine and romantic – just like her dress.

First, I would start by priming her face with ELF’s mineral primer, so her makeup stays on all day {even in the heat}.

As her foundation, I would use my favorite long-lasting foundation, Revlon’s Color Stay.

I would use Sonia Kashuk’s All Covered Up concealer to cover any redness or blemishes – as well as to prime her eyelids for eyeshadow.

Next I would highlight the tops of her cheekbones with NYX’s Born To Glow Liquid Illuminator so she has a dewey, “glowing from within” look.

To set her foundation/concealer, I’d grab my Studio Fix Powder by MAC. But I’d be very light handed so her makeup still looks dewey and not cakey.

To contour and bronze her skin I would use Hoola by Benefit. I’d apply it to the hollows of her cheeks, the top of her forehead and anywhere else that needs contouring/bronzing.

Sticking with Benefit, I’d use their Dandelion blush on the apples of her cheeks to give her a sweet and innocent but romantic glow.

For her eyes, I’d do a natural look using the Naked Basics pallet by Urban Decay. I’d use the lightest color under her brows and a combination of the pinks/browns on her lids. With an angled eyeliner brush I’d line the top of her lashes and the outer corner of her bottom lashes with the darkest color in the pallet.

Since I want to achieve a more natural look, but I still want her eyes to ‘pop’ – I’d skip the false lashes and go straight for They’re Real Mascara by Benefit. My all time favorite mascara. It’s long-wearing and waterproof so she can shed those tears of happiness, without worrying about raccoon eyes 🙂

To define her brows, I’d use my go-to brow kit – Benefit’s Brow Zings. It’s a wax and a powder and it looks beautiful and natural so you don’t end up with that ‘drawn on’ look.

Lastly, the lips. I’d want them to be a sweet and romantic color – and not too bold. I’d use Milani’s Fruit Punch Lipstick and then top them off with Nars’ Turkish Delight Lipgloss.

Voila! There you have it! My Boho-Chic makeup look for this gorgeous dress I found on
