This baby is officially halfway cooked! Woop woop!
This Sunday was Easter and we had beautiful weather up here in Northern California. We celebrated with both sets of grandparents and the Easter Bunny left Bronson baskets at 3 houses. (Spoiled child alert!) So thankful for family and some new friends that we spent the day with. And not to mention all the delicious food we ate!
Monday we had our 20 week ultrasound. This is the big ultrasound where they measure and check all of the baby’s parts and organs. Baby was folded in half with its head down, and its arms and legs covering its face so the ultrasound tech had a heck of a time trying to get the pictures she needed. Eventually the little nugget flipped over and cooperated. 🙂 This is normally the ultrasound where you would find out if the baby is a boy or a girl – but we stuck to our guns and didn’t find out. The tech even said she wouldn’t put anything in our records, so no nurses or doctors will accidentally slip and read it to us!
Here’s a pic of our little banana. The heart rate was 148 beats per minute and it’s measuring right on at 20 weeks and 1 day!
Total weight gain/loss: Still no gain since being so sick the first trimester
Maternity clothes? Yep, maternity jeans and shorts!
Sleep: Not so much. This pregnancy had given me the driest skin – so I am itchy all night long!
Best moment this week: Ultrasound yesterday!
Gender prediction:No idea! Maybe leaning more towards boy?
Labor Signs: Nope
Wedding rings on or off? On
Weekly Wisdom: Oye. I could write 50 more posts on wisdom I received this week. Wisdom from God AND wisdom from some AMAZING God-fearing women. New revelations, new perspectives, new hope. (Maybe this week God will call me to share some of what I learned with you all.) 🙂
